Katia has great dance education started from age 6 in Moscow, Russia, where she extensively trained in classical ballet, music, acting, choreography and academic character dance. She became professional academic dancer and State Academic National Dance Ensemble soloist.
Katia moved to Egypt in early 1990s where she studied oriental dance with legendary teachers and choreographers Raqia Hassan and Ibrahim Akef and soon became top oriental dance superstar in Cairo.
Katia made extremely successful and long career in Egypt dancing at prestigious concerts and high class weddings in all five-star Cairo venues, including Intercontinental Semiramis, Marriott, Ramses Hilton and Nile Maxim and many others.
During first visit of Chinese leader to Egypt Katia Eshta was chosen the only one dancer to present Egyptian oriental dance art at this historical event.
Katia made extremely successful and long career in Egypt dancing at prestigious concerts and high class weddings in all five-star Cairo venues, including Intercontinental Semiramis, Marriott, Ramses Hilton and Nile Maxim and many others.

Today Katia Eshta is one of the most demanded international bellydance masters in the world. She has visited with workshops and shows Russia, China, USA, Japan, South Korea, Italy, Spain, Chili, Brazil, and other countries, totally more than 15 countries. She gave more than 2500 hours of bellydance workshops. More than 1000 dancers all over the world became her students. Last years she is almost always traveling with her unique Egyptian band from Cairo. In Egypt Katia is now top oriental dance producer and star-maker working with top prestigious event agencies.

Today Cairo Mirage is top international oriental dance art festival and star-maker in Russia and abroad. In 2015 Katia created international Cairo Mirage Bellydance Union with unique educational and certification system for bellydance teachers from any country. Katia Eshta with her organization team spent over 20 extremely successful international bellydance events in Russia including Cairo Mirage and Egypt Cup festivals and Cairo Mirage and Cairo Weekend intensive courses. Cairo Mirage universe celebrates 13th Anniversary in 2023. November 2023 Katia's most legendary festival Cairo Mirage will be first time hold in Cairo, Egypt.
Katia Eshta also enriches oriental dance heritage with exclusive oriental music CD's recorded in Cairo with her professional band and educational DVD's and Cairo Mirage Online Academy courses with unique technique explanations and choreographies for advanced level.
