Egyptian folklore nomination includes: saidi, escandarani, siwa, nouba, simsimiya, bambouti, fallahi, ghawazee, haggala, bedouin dance, bedouin haggala, shamadan, mouwashahat.
Non-Egyptian folklore nomination includes: Gulf folklore, Maghreb folklore and folklore styles of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Yemen and Sudan.

Egyptian dance. Participants are allowed to choose song from songs list (download songs list below) or offer any another song if organizers confirm it.
Improvisation performance with orchestra. Golden and Golden Middle categories are allowed to dance only baladi piece without drum-solo (by choice).
Competition is held for 6 age categories - Baby; Children; Juniors; Adults; Golden Middle; Golden, Brilliant. Any participant without reference to dance level is allowed to take part in Katia Eshta Cup nomination. Participants are allowed to choose for performance 1 and more songs from proposed song's list. Total performance time limit - 7 minutes. Mejanse, tarab songs, modern songs, beledi (including baladi progression), shaabi, khaligi, tabla solo are allowed for performance in Egypt Cup. One costume change inside performance is allowed.

The participant presents his own show program to the jury, accompanied by the Katia Eshta Egyptian orchestra. Time limit - up to 12 minutes. The show should consist of 2-3 diverse musical compositions of the participant's choice, one of which should be a classical entrance. The participant is free to choose costumes and accessories. In the case of a change of costume, the time for changing clothes is deducted from the total time of the performance.
